Conference organized by BSRI and UCSF Department of Lab medicine
with grant support from CIRM
The goal of this meeting is to discuss barriers in translation of cell therapies in trauma and critical care medicine, an area with few effective therapeutic options. The topics covered will span translationally relevant topics such as cell sourcing, cell expansion and storage, pre-clinical studies, clinical trials, safety, and funding. Our speakers have diverse expertise and knowledge in these areas. We invite clinicians, physician scientists, and basic scientists who are currently working in or anticipate working in the field of cell therapies for critically ill patients to attend.
